We all start the year with good intentions – and our pets are no different (even if they don’t know it).

Here are a few New Year’s resolutions your pet might not roll their eyes at:

“I Will Move a Bit More”

Extra walks, a game of fetch or a daily play session can do wonders for weight, joints and mood.

“I Will Eat a Little More Sensibly”

Fewer table scraps, measured meals and healthier treats can make a huge difference over time.

“I Will Look After My Teeth”

Okay, this one’s more your resolution than theirs – but your pet will thank you for it!

“I Will Visit the Vet Before There’s a Problem”

Preventative care helps catch issues early, often saving stress and expense later.

The best resolutions are realistic. Small changes that stick are far more valuable than ambitious plans that fade by February.
